Minecraft Cylinder Generator
Build a perfectly round tower, silo, well, or pipe. Set the diameter and height — every layer is the same circle, so Hollow gives an open tube you can stack to any height, and Filled gives a solid pillar. Flip to the 3D view to rotate the finished tower and see it from any angle.
Layer 1 of 12 — build bottom-up with the slider. The number after each row is its block count.
How to build a cylinder in Minecraft
- Set the diameter of the circle and the height of the tower.
- Build the ring shown once, then stack identical copies straight up for every layer — all layers of a cylinder are the same circle.
- Hollow is an open tube (no top or bottom). Add a filled circle of the same diameter as a roof or floor if you want to close it off.
- For the cap shape on its own, use the circle generator.
FAQ
How do you make a round tower in Minecraft?
Set the diameter for the tower's width and the height for how tall it is. The generator gives you one circle cross-section to repeat at every level — build that circle, then stack it straight up. Hollow mode is the open tube you want for walls you can stand inside.
How do you make a cylinder, silo, or pipe?
They're all the same shape — a circle extruded to a height. Use a wider diameter for silos, a narrow one for pipes, and Hollow for an open tube or Filled for a solid pillar. The block count updates live as you size it.
What diameter makes a clean round tower?
Odd diameters (7, 9, 11…) give a symmetric circle with a single-block center, which reads as the roundest. 9–13 is the sweet spot for castle and wizard towers; go wider for arena or silo walls.
What's the difference between a cylinder and a sphere?
A cylinder repeats the same circle at every height (straight sides). A sphere changes the circle size each layer so it curves in at the top and bottom. Use the Sphere generator if you want a ball or dome instead of a straight tower.
