About Potion
What is the Minecraft ID for Potion?
The namespaced ID is minecraft:potion, used in the /give command: /give @p minecraft:potion. In legacy versions before 1.13, Potion used the numeric ID 373. Numeric item IDs were removed in the 1.13 "Flattening" and no longer work in modern commands.
Why does Potion have a stack size of 1?
Items with stack size 1 are typically tools, weapons, armor, buckets, or unique items. They can't be combined into stacks because the game tracks their durability or contents individually.
