When to pick each
1v1 isolated melee. The 21-damage swing with knockback usually means the Ravager dies in 6-7 hits while taking only 1-2 in return. Golems are also passive to the player and won't aggro you.
Raids. Ravagers spawn with Pillager riders and an entourage of Vindicators. The roar disables shields and the rider's crossbow keeps the Golem's pathfinding interrupted. Defending villages without Totems of Undying is risky.
