/spawnpoint
Set a player's personal spawn point.
What is /spawnpoint used for?
What /spawnpoint is for
Sets an individual player's respawn location — where they reappear after dying — to specific coordinates or their current spot.
When to use /spawnpoint
Give players a safe respawn at a base or lobby without needing a bed or respawn anchor, or set checkpoints in an adventure map.
Spawnpoint vs world spawn
/spawnpoint affects one player; /setworldspawn changes the default for everyone and new joins. On Bedrock, /clearspawnpoint removes a personal spawn.

Common questions
How do I set my respawn point with a command?
Run /spawnpoint to set it where you stand, or /spawnpoint @s <x> <y> <z> for specific coordinates.
Why do I still respawn at the world spawn?
Set the global default with /setworldspawn, and on Bedrock clear a stale personal spawn with /clearspawnpoint.
Permission level
/spawnpoint requires Cheats (op level 2). In single-player you need the world's "Allow Cheats" toggle on. On a multiplayer server you need to be opped — see /op.
