/spreadplayers
Randomly distributes the targeted entities around a center point, guaranteeing a minimum distance between them and keeping them within a maximum range. Optionally respects teams (keeping teammates together) and can cap the spread height for the under-roof variant. Useful for PvP match starts and minigames.
What is /spreadplayers used for?
What /spreadplayers is for
Randomly scatters the targeted entities around a center point, keeping a minimum distance between them and within a maximum range.
When to use /spreadplayers
Start a PvP match or minigame with players spread out, scatter mobs across an area, or relocate a crowd without picking spots by hand.
Tips for /spreadplayers
Set respectTeams to true to keep teammates clustered together. The 'under <maxHeight>' variant spreads players beneath a ceiling instead of on the surface.
