/event
Fires a named entity event defined in an entity's behavior file, switching its component groups — for example turning a creeper into its charged state or aging a mob. The hook addon and map makers use to script mob behavior on Bedrock.
Syntax
Parameters
- target
- entity selector
- Entities to fire the event on.
- eventName
- string
- Event ID from the entity's behavior definition.
Examples
Charge nearby creepers.
Permission level
/event requires Cheats (op level 2). In single-player you need the world's "Allow Cheats" toggle on. On a multiplayer server you need to be opped — see /op.
