/clone
Copy a region of blocks to another location.
What is /clone used for?
What /clone is for
Copies all the blocks in a region from one place to another, with modes to replace, only copy non-air (masked), filter to one block type, or move (clear the source).
When to use /clone
Duplicate builds, snapshot and restore an arena between rounds, or move a structure a few blocks over. It's the fast way to repeat detailed builds without rebuilding by hand.
Tips for /clone
Like /fill it's limited to 32,768 blocks. Use 'masked' mode to overlay a build without erasing the existing terrain around it, and 'move' to relocate rather than copy.

Common questions
Why does /clone say "too many blocks"?
Like /fill, /clone is limited to 32,768 blocks per command. Split a large copy into smaller regions and run it in pieces.
How do I move a build instead of copying it?
Use move mode: /clone <begin> <end> <destination> move, which clears the source area after copying it to the destination.
Permission level
/clone requires Cheats (op level 2). In single-player you need the world's "Allow Cheats" toggle on. On a multiplayer server you need to be opped — see /op.
