Craft Stone Bricks by placing 4 Stone blocks in a 2×2 square in the crafting grid.

Step by step

    Get smooth grey Stone

    Smelt Cobblestone into Stone in a furnace (or mine Stone with Silk Touch). Stone Bricks need actual Stone, not Cobblestone.

    Craft in a 2×2 square

    Fill any 2×2 area of the crafting grid with 4 Stone. This makes 4 Stone Bricks.

  • A Stonecutter turns Stone into Stone Bricks one-for-one with no waste.
  • Stone Bricks craft into Chiseled, Cracked (by smelting), and Mossy variants for detailing.
