Copper Golem

Replace ~ ~ ~ with absolute coordinates to spawn at a fixed location.

Requires Minecraft 1.21.9 or newer — the copper golem does not exist in 1.21.8 or earlier.

Set a custom name, health, and behavior flags to generate a ready-to-paste /summon command for Copper Golem.

Place a block of copper (any oxidation stage), then place a carved pumpkin or jack o'lantern on top — the pumpkin must be placed last. On construction the copper block instantly becomes a Copper Chest and the copper golem spawns where the pumpkin was, both matching the oxidation level of the copper block you used.

• •Passive — it never attacks and won't hurt you; its whole job is moving items.
• •When empty-handed it opens the nearest Copper Chest and takes up to 16 of the first item type it finds.
• •When carrying items it walks to the nearest wooden or trapped chest and deposits them, but only if that chest is empty or already holds the same item.
• •Searches for chests up to 32 blocks horizontally and 8 vertically, and remembers recently visited chests so it doesn't loop.
• •Oxidizes through four stages (unoxidized → exposed → weathered → oxidized) over many in-game hours, exactly like copper blocks.
• •Once fully oxidized it has a small chance each tick to lock into a copper statue (about 8–9 seconds on average); it drops anything it was holding when it freezes.
• •Cannot be dyed.

• •1–3 copper ingots (1–6 with Looting III)
