What a Smithing Table does
- •Upgrade diamond tools and armor to netherite using a netherite upgrade smithing template + netherite ingot
- •Apply decorative armor trims with a trim template + trim material
- •Assigns the Toolsmith profession to a villager
How to use the Smithing Table
Right-click the smithing table to open its three-slot interface: template, base item, and addition. For netherite, combine the Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, your diamond item, and a netherite ingot. For trims, use an armor trim template, the armor piece, and a material like iron, gold, or amethyst. Netherite upgrades preserve all enchantments.
Villager job site: Toolsmith — place it near an unemployed villager to assign the profession.
