The beacon projects a beam into the sky and grants status effects (Speed, Haste, Jump Boost, Strength, Regeneration, Resistance) to nearby players when placed atop a pyramid of mineral blocks.

What a Beacon does
- •Grant area status effects to players within range
- •Pyramid size (1–4 tiers) sets the effect range and unlocks a secondary effect
- •Beam color can be changed with stained glass
How to use the Beacon
Build a pyramid of iron, gold, diamond, emerald, copper, or netherite blocks (1–4 tiers, needing 9/34/83/164 blocks) and place the beacon on top with a clear view of the sky. Right-click it, insert one mineral ingot/block, and choose a primary effect; a full 4-tier pyramid also unlocks Regeneration or a second-level boost.
How to get it
Crafted from a Nether star (dropped by the Wither), glass, and obsidian.
